    Our official Florida CE Provider number is 0007714. All courses are approved by the State Board of Cosmetology.
    The required courses for renewal and a wide selection of elective courses are offered by AwakenYourBeautiful.com and are all state-approved. Awaken Your Beautiful is state-approved CE Provider #0007714. All courses on AwakenYourBeautiful.com are approved by the State Board of Cosmetology.

  • Different Licenses have Different CE Requirements

    Cosmetologist license = 16 continuing education hours to renew.
    Nail, Specialist, Full Specialist, Facial Specialist licenses = 16 hours
    Body Wrapper, Hair Braider, Hair Wrapper licenses = 2-hour course about HIV/AIDS and communicable diseases to renew.

  • How to Buy a Course Package

    Click a Buy Button. This will take you to the page where you create an account. This is necessary so that you will receive the Certificates of Completion for the courses you take. We will send this information directly to the State of Florida Board of Cosmetology for their records so you receive proper credit.

    After you create your account, enter your payment information. You can use VISA, MASTERCARD or American Express.

  • Click the "Enroll Now" Button

    You will see a list of all the Required Courses you must complete in order to renew your Florida cosmetology license.
    NOTE: Only 5 courses are listed on this page due to space limitations. Go to the bottom of the screen to the line that says, "This bundle contains more courses. The rest can be accessed from your student dashboard."
    The words "your student dashboard" is the link to your dashboard so you can see the full list of courses in your package.

  • Remember to Pick Only One Package

    One package includes all the required courses plus an additional 4 hours of elective credit.

  • How to get your Certificate of Completion

    To see and download your Certificate of Completion for a course, go to your Dashboard.
    • Click on the course name
    • Click on Achievements & Progress link
    (It's under the name of the course on the left.)
    • Click on Generate Your Certificate.
    • Click Get Your Certificate.

    You will see your Certificate in a new screen. You now have the option to download the certificate for your files and to print it.

  • Course Completion and License Renewal

    We report your course completion directly to the Florida Board.
    It requires us to report every 30 days, but we file a report at the end of each week.
    It is our understanding that the State takes up to a week to process that information so you will not be able to renew your license until they complete that work.
